Aldara Construcciones has just delivered the building for the Karol Wojtyla School in Seseña (Toledo) to its client, Virgen de la Misericordia Foundation, based on the project of the architect Francisco F. Muñoz Carabias. Only 5 months were needed to build the building, a perfect square of 64 meters on each side, with internal courtyards strategically located to allow light to enter and act as bioclimatic mechanisms. It has enclosures by coupling successive layers depending on the study of the different expansions of the facade, orientation and uses; thus, in the north facing facades, coinciding with the classrooms where the capture of light is fundamental, the double panel of polycarbonate is abundant, while in those facing south, although maintaining polycarbonate and glass in aluminum carpentry, it has been interposed by the outer perforated plate that sieves, according to the angles, the entrance of the sun and in those oriented to east and west, the minionda plate of white color becomes opaque and is fixed by means of battens to a sandwich panel of 60 mm of insulation, forming a layer ventilated to the outside.
